WM Team Herren 2019 – Die Schweiz mit „Sportsmanship Award“ geehrt

Eine besondere Ehre wurde dem Schweizer Team am Abschlussabend der WM zuteil. Die Schweizer Mannschaft wurde mit dem „Sportsmanhip Award“ geehrt. Dazu die Worte des Präsidenten des Weltverbandes, Jaques Fontaine: „We were saddened to hear of the passing of Nicolas Mueller’s mum and his need to fly home. Your team’s courage, resilience and strong sportsmanship was truly remarkable and your players and coach are a credit to not only your Federation but the Squash community worldwide. Their sportsmanship on and off the Court was exemplary“.
